Sunflowers | Michelle | Colorado Springs, CO

Goodness, I almost forgot that I intended to post these photos. Michelle and I started a (somewhat) tradition of taking photos in a field of sunflowers, and this year we may have pushed it a little too far out... the first year we did this, we found the last week of August was FULL of sunflowers everywhere we looked.

But this year, we waited until the first or second week of September, and they were almost gone. It was sad, but the dying flowers coupled with the grey skies and our black dresses gave it an interesting vibe. I'm not usually the one in front of the camera, but it's such a fun tradition and I love getting to traipse around in the flowers for a little while. Michelle's a boss, though. I love the cool shots we got!
